Synergy in Clinical Practice
Who:
PA/NPs are knowledgeable, certified medical professionals, training on the same medical model as physicians.
How:
PA/NPs participate in lifelong learning. In order to maintain national certification, PAs must complete 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years.
Why:
PA/NPs improve the quality of healthcare because they can spend more time with patients, serving as health educators in addition to treating medical conditions. They can also help plan preventative strategies.
